Mickie James: For What It's Worth #14

Feb 12 by John Canton

In the mickiejames.com forum we have a section where fans can ask Mickie questions. Here are two questions and answers for this week.

MJfaninCA asks:

Here are my questions to you. Does TNA ever come to Los Angeles, California? Why are you a Cowboy fan? How's the new CD coming out? I cannot wait. How can a Californian fan meet you? Thanks and hope to hear from you soon. -- Naz

Mickie answers:

Hello Naz. Yes TNA does come to LA and all over Cali at least once a year. I also come to LA myself for wrestling, music, as well as autograph signings throughout the year. The best way to know when and where you can see me is to check my schedule here on MickieJames.com. For TNA live events be sure to check their schedule at ImpactWrestling.com.

I'm a Cowboy fan because they are the greatest team in the world!!! Haha... No honestly I grew up a fan of the Cowboys because my dad is a huge fan of theirs. So I suppose I was a born fan. Besides I’ve always loved Cowboys & Outlaws...

The new album is coming along great! I can't wait to share this new music with you all. I have to say a BIG THANK YOU to all of you for your love and support through my music endeavors. I think you all are gonna love the second coming... It will ROCK YOUR SOCKS!!!

Alan Sinclair asks:

You have really made some very nice treats & eats!! Like the mouth watering cakes & cookies you show us on Twitter over for the holidays and such. As for me, I have been an assistant chef over the years at a few restaurants and took a small culinary course because been I've cooking since I was 12 and I still LOVE to cook in my spare time, especially grilling. Desserts have been and are my biggest challenge, but you make it look simple & easy! :-D Where & how did you learn, and what do you love preparing the most? Bon Appetit. ;-)

Mickie answers:

I learned from my mom, grandma, and my sister Latoya. But honestly mostly from trial and error. I wasn’t always a great cook. In fact Latoya has always been much better than me. That's why she has her own catering company and I sing and fight! HA! My stepdad used to tease me that I could burn water... which I probably could if distracted. LOL. The key I’ve found is patience... Not to try to get it done to fast. I also look for fun recipes for things that I actually want to eat. I don’t do fancy shmancy designer food thats just pretty to look at... It’s all about the flavor! My favorite dish is always making my infamous candied yams at the holidays. I think because its the only time I cook them... And allow myself to eat them!

As we wrap this up we want to remind you that we have added a Mickie James FAQ to the site where Mickie answers some of the questions most frequently asked of her. It's located at mickiejames.com/faq.

Got a question for Mickie? Sign up for the forum at Mickiejames.com/forum, think of something good, don't be shy and there's a very good chance that she will answer it in a future edition of For What It's Worth.
