Announced today on Instagram & X (Twitter), the WWE, TNA Impact legend & 11-time Women's World Champion has agreed to join Ohio Valley Wrestling to serve as Creative Director & Head of Female Talent as well as Executive Producer for OVW Wrestling shows.
Mickie has alot of history with the OVW brand, spending time in OVW from 2003-2005 when signed to a WWE developmental contract.
Mickie James on this exciting new venture:
"I am really honored & excited to come on board with OVW to help take it to the next level. I have a lot of love & history within those four walls, so certainly I can relate to every talent in that building because I have lied in their shoes. Al (Snow) was one of my trainers when I was there & to see all the love & determination he has poured into OVW To keep the Davis Arena going strong since, has been so amazing. Ed, Al & Matt (Jones) have a great team there & a great vision for 2024 & beyond. I can't wait to see what the future holds as we grow & specifically help develop the women's division to a whole different level"
